Venezuelan/American violinist and violist Paul Aguilar has won top prizes at the Banff, Bordeaux, Fischoff, Melbourne, Wigmore Hall, and Manhattan International chamber music competitions as well as the Gold Medal and Grand Prize at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. Most recently, he won a section viola position in the Houston Symphony. In addition to traveling around the world performing, Paul enjoys sharing music with his family, at his church, and throughout his community in schools and numerous other community centers. Paul plays on a very fine violin and viola that were commissioned from Kevin Lee.
Paul joined Plymouth Chamber Players in 2024.
